  1. This is true. My other option is same year with a stuck axle, but def better body shape.
  2. Not sure about frame, as i have not seen it. Not sure about filler either. Its a couple of hours from me. I am not really looking for a lot of power in terms of engine, but mostly reliability.
  3. forgot to mention she's an 86 2.8 with 4x4. I already know it will need a battery from the bat
  4. So i have been looking for an MJ for a while, they are hard to come by 4x4 up this way. I found this one on cl and it's the all too familiar rotted floor pans. I agreed on paying 400 with seller. It's a cheap deal, but is it gonna cost me more in the end. Loving the chrome. I want to restore it to the point that it could be come my daily driver for the winter months. I will have to pay someone to do the work for the floors and rockers, as i do not have a welder or able to do the work. any input would be great.
  5. yea talked to the guy, the interior is stripped, exhaust manifold is out and there is rot in chassis. I'll def do it for free! lol
  6. Yea I want it to be the least work possible bc I need it for the winter. So my guess its prob best to find an mj that s already 4wd.
  7. It is a 1989 MJ 4.0 and trans is an AX5 (?). I am considering buying this truck, I have a 1999 Auto 4WD as a donor. How much do I have to transfer from the xj in order to have it converted? Is it too much work? Thanks in advance!
  8. I mean I think it should be about 500 based on no motor. I do have a 4.0 to put in it.
  9. I am definitely in the salt belt. I haven't gone to see the truck but it is a ways from me and I wanted to know how much is a fair price for it.
  10. how much is a 88 mj 150k 4wd 4.0 motor has thrown rod? seller wants 2k for it.
