Looking for a drivers side seat belt for bucket seats. My seats are Gray, but would be OK with Black or Gray. Really only need the female end, but will buy the whole belt system. Thanks

I checked the fluid back when it was doing it the first time and it was right on full, didn't seem burnt at all, and I didn't see any metal shavings in it. I'm going get the fluid/filter changed tomorrow! That's great info Hornbrod! Unfortunately, I don't have a pressure test gauge. I will do the manual shift test though and see what happens. Thanks! I've been having intermittent shifting issues in my 88 MJ. It started a few months ago and it left me stranded an hour from home. That day it started shifting sort of odd. Sometimes when I would take my foot off the gas or break to slow down and then try to accelerate, the RPMs would go up but the transmission wouldn't shift. I could take my foot off the gas and then try again and it would shift. Eventually when I stopped at a red light it wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. I had it towed to a shop and he kept it a week and couldn't find a problem. He said more than likely it just had a valve stuck and it became un-stuck before he test drove it. Now it's starting to do the same type of thing again. It's only intermittent, but sometimes when it downshifts, it doesn't seem to want to upshift when I accelerate and even seems to surge sometimes. I noticed it is worse when it's cold. Could this be a TCU or solenoid issue, or should I start looking for a new transmission? It has 159,000 miles on it.

Recently, the vent fan in my 88 Laredo with the 4.0 shut offs when the engine RPMs go up, like when going up a steep hill or passing. It will come right back on when the RPMs drop back down and it doesn't make any strange noises before shutting off or when it comes back on. Any ideas on what I should check?

I'm in Slapout, Al. Turns out I may not need to replace the one I have. The mechanic said it was just a stuck valve and so far it's driving fine. I did find some used ones for $350 with a 90 day warranty.

Looking for a good 4x4 AW4 for my 1988 4x4 Comanche Laredo 4.0. Will consider a 1991-1996 with transfer case included. Thanks

Will a AW4 out of a 2001 Cherokee be an easy swap for my 1988 MJ? Both are 4wd with the 4.0. Would I need other driveline parts off the Cherokee?

Does anyone know if any aftermarket bumpers like Warn or Smittybuilt made for other vehicles (besides Cherokee) will fit a Comanche with no or only minor mods? I'm wondering if I can find one in a JY that I might be able to modify. I saw one on an Xterra, but didn't crawl under it to see how it was attached. I'm hoping someone already knows which other models might work so I can narrow my search. Thanks
