  1. Hey all.Does anybody hear have a source for a headliner replacement on my 88 jeep comanche?.Thanks for any help
  2. I will soon be selling my 1988 Comanche pioneer here on this site,BAT,ebay etc.Hoping I can get an accurate value from some people here on this site.It is all original ,white with blue bench seat interior,69k original miles,4.0 litre engine,4wd,8ft bed with an 8ft white leer cap.It has a new clutch and slave cylinder in the bell housing, brand new tires, new head liner, recently detailed in and out,no rust,or dents etc.I'm torn between selling or keeping but Ive seen nice examples sell for pretty big money.
  3. read all of your responses and understand them. It is a 4.0 engine straight six but will confirm the transmission. Its obviously a standard not automatic. Not sure how to tell what the rear dif gear ratio is but I can certainly take a pic of it and the rest of the truck as well.It was a one owner truck from a guy that used it only to commute to the train in and do the odd dump run. Its never hauled really anything and obviously never been plowed with.As I said the truck sits most of the time which is the only reason I'm considering selling. Its going into the body shop to get touched up and detailed, buffed out etc then out for new tires, battery, tune up and steamcleaning under the hood etc etc.
  4. Hey All; Ive got a 1988 Comanche with less than 70k on it. It has no rust and is very straight, has an 8ft bed with a good leer cap, blue interior with a bench seat,4.0 engine,4 speed tranny. It has normal interior wear but is very decent. I don't drive it at all so figured I might sell it. Whats a fair price .Its rare to find one that is in this good shape and in this condition. Thanks
  5. I have a 91 cherokee sport minus the engine I got for parts . Are the front and rear differentials compatable with my 1988 Comanche?. Where do I check for the different ratios if theyre not?. Thanks
  6. Ive got an 88 Comanche,4.0,8ft bed,4wd with 56k on it.no rust and in very nice condition.I know there has been discussion on bypassing the proportioning height/weight valve at the rear of the truck and some discussion on the distribution block on the front.Approaches vary however and I'm hoping someone has a step by step procedure to deal with this?.The stock suspension is in place so theres no lift issues with the rear valve. I have no problem eliminating the rear valve but if its still good and just the front valve needs to be cleaned/recentered/or even replaced.I would just as soon keep it stock. If I bypass the rear valve,I would just block the bottom forward fitting on the front block and not source a YJ block.Doesnt seem necassary. Both of these parts are out of the truck currently so some direction would be much appreciated......Thanks ,Jordan
