Here's Jeep bike that I salvaged out of someones trash. I put new front tube in and made it rideable. I also got the Cherokee wheel that's in the Pic. Does anyone know the year they were using this as a promotion with the purchase of a Cherokee?

Thanks, I will look on the firewall plate. the original color was a charcoal black color before my dad had it painted. I want to take it back to the original color. Its an '87 4L, 4WD.

Does anyone know how to find the original paint color if the door sticker is faded? Is it in the VIN # somewhere? I would like to go back to the original color. I know approx. what the the color was. It is an '87 4L, 4WD. The approx. original color was a charcoal black.

So far I have done all 4 rims. One thing I didn't account for was the rust from the wheel centers staining the fresh rims. I'm going to have to do something for that now. :headpop:

Here is my '87 with 173,000 miles. It runs great. I have just gotten started. I plan on painting the exterior then redoing the interior. It's not in that bad a shape. I'm the 2nd owner. My dad was the 1st. It helps to know the full history of the vehicle.
