Well guys, I made a thread a few months ago. I hate cluttering boards and exess threads, but my compooter decided it was done. There's an mj on my semi local craigslist. It has he i6, an auto, 4x4, and only 50k on it. It was a plow truck its entire life, so I assume it had the pig excrement beaten out of since 1987. The only issuse are the front bumper is gone. No problem. A brake line is popped, so it would have to be towed to my house. I do not have a truck capable of towing something that heavy, nor a car trailer or tow dolley. From the milage it can't be far from bone stock. I'll see if I can get the link to work on this tablet. My nissan hardbody has a rod knock and the tranny self destructed. I love comanches mostly due to their rarity in comparison to xjs, tjs or yjs. I would be absolutly willing to pay a CC member $100 or so to tow it from rock tavern ny to ballston spa ny. Its a bit over a 2 and a half hour drive one way. Thanks guys. If I can get the link to work it'll be in the first or second reply.

hey everyone. new poster, long time (~6 month) occasional lurker. looking for a comanche, doing the craigslist rounds as per usual, found this. http://westernmass.craigslist.org/cto/4138628235.html it sounds like a decent deal, especially because all the other ones around me are pristine and not to be modded/rodded. a welded D44 and a D30 don't sound very street/tire friendly. smoked rear pinion bearings and a rotted chunk of frame worry me. my question is this worth $1200 with a "bad" frame and junk pinion bearings? thanks.
