  1. i am actually getting the tires from my brother in law for free, he is tading his truck in and i'm switching mine with his. I am going to be running a 3 inch lift soon, i just wanted to make sure the tires would fit ok now.
  2. well i ended up replacing about 6 brake lines, both wheel clyinders in the back, new brake shoes and resurfaced the drums
  3. yea i am going to run them on the stock rims.
  4. So i got a real good deal on some 31x10.5 bf goodrich a/t, and i was just wondering if anybody has any expierience with 31's and no lift. I plan on cutting the fenders, is there anything else to make a little bit of room. I'm lifting it about 3 inches soon, but i was just wondering if they will fit now? thanks
  5. So i was driving the other night and i decided to take my comanche down a little trail. I pulled into the trail and stopped to put it into 4wd and my brake light comes on ( emergency brake light, inside of truck) and my brakes go to the floor and have almost np pressure. So now i only have front brakes that barely work at all and my brake lights on. I checked the fluid which was a little bit low so i added some, but that didnt help. I'm going to bleed them later and see if it helps. If anyone has any ideas let me know. thanks
  6. so where do you guys get your oem parts. Is there any good websites. I think all the master cylinders i have found were remanufactured ones. What am i looking at for a price, the ones i have found were around 60 $
  7. So how hard is it to change the master cylinder. Is it as simple as unbolting it from the firewall, installing the new one, then bleeding it. Or is there more to insatlling a master cylinder then that?
  8. i realized what i wrote after i wrote it. It is not losing fluid, it is losing pressure.
  9. my 1990 mj, 4.0,5spd has a problem with the clutch. If i just rest my foot on the clutch it gradually loses fluid and goes to the floor. It only takes about 5 seconds for the clutch to go from normal feeling to having no pressure. It also loses fluid while driving. I won't be able to shift without pumping the clutch a few times. There is plenty of fluid, do you think my master cylinder is bad. Is there anyway to bleed this? thanks
  10. Hey, I recently bought a 1991 comanche, 4.0 ,5 spd, 4WD, and the 4WD always worked perfectly. I went to use it the other night and nothing. The light would come on but go off as soon as i started going. I tried low range and the truck was in low range, but no 4WD. To me this means the transfer case is fine, but for some reason the front wheels arn't engaging. Where do the vacume lines connect, i looked but couldn't really find them (I'm new to comanche's). Is there any other parts in the front end i should check? thanks
