Going to be doing this Monday morning on my 88, I have never done this on a closed system so I’m looking for any tricks or tips y’all may have that will make this project go smoothly

Working on my first Comanche picked the truck up to use as a duckhuning/backup dd. This being my first Comanche I'm sure ill be asking some stupid questions as i already have. As the truck sits now 88 long bed inline 6 Auto 4x4 Was not running when i got the truck a few days ago, the past owner belived it needed an ECU. After doing a few days of reading on this site I got it running to a point. What ive done so far. Replaced all the grown/power wires to and from the battery, added a secant ground from the battery to the rad-suport and she fired right up. Thing needing addressing rusted out passangerside floor. brake leak on the passanger side over heating ( in the procese ) Thanks for all the help to this pont and to come. Pics to come.

Got all the stuff to do a radflush and replace the t-stat yeterday but the weather went south. its the parking light that is staying on all the time. Cruiser your link is what helped me get it running man. Thanks

I was just asking a general question at the time. I did not believe the truck needed a ecu and I was correct. But I was looking ofr options if it did. I got it running yesterday with 30 dollars worth of ground wires and battery cables. Sorry if I was being too vague. It’s an 88 4x4 long bed strait6 auto Comanche that has been sitting for three years. This is my first Comanche so I’m sure I will be asking more questions after searching the best that I can. After getting it running I have two new problems. First off it is over heating and secant the running light on the driver side is on all the time

I was told the truck i just picked up may need one and i was just looking for optons at the bone yard.

Picked up my first Comanche first of last week. It will start then cut back off. Went to upgrade the ground wire but the nut is stuck on the stud and the stud is lose. Anyone came across this before.
