Thanks for the info. Just got it done and its running great. It was pretty nasty as well as the throttle body. Someone told me I could take it to a shop and let them run something through it and burn all the crap put of it. Thinking towards having that done. Is that accurate?

i havent tried either of them. I'm sorta new when it comes to motors so will probably be posting alot of questions. how do i go about cleaning the iac and where is it located at

Ive looked and looked and can't seem to find a straight answer what is the correct rpm idle for a 88 jeep comanche with inline 6. it idles at or right under 1000 rpm which sounds high. Its jumped up to 2000 and 2500 hundred so i cleaned the throttle body and now its at 1000 which is still higher than it was. Any help would be appreciated.

176000 miles and motor was rebuilt about 20000 ago there its no rust underneath only had it on the body but took care of that and definitly has an under coating I'm the second owner and know the dude who bought it new so I know its all stock and definitly head the larger tank

are they worth any more than a regular pioneer

hey i have an 88 comanche 4.0 olympic edition and can't find any info on it. i know its decals and have heard something about an udercoating which it seems to have. just wanting to know if anyone had the run down on this truck. it also seems to have a larger gas tank.
