I have a 87 w/4.0/5sp. it has allways shifted hard from 1st. to 2nd. in cold weather untill it warms up. I got it new and now have 200000 miles on it. Still does the same thing.

I got the same hitch from Hitches To Go part #75021 for $120.44 with free shipping. It is made by Draw-Tite. Just dose not have U_Haul wrote on it.

:cheers: You may have a dirty connector. Sometimes the wires running to the dist. will break. Sometime if you just unplug the connector and plug them back up will work. The crankshalf position sensor connector will get dirty and do the same thing. It is at the back of valve cover on drivers side. Two wires runing down to the back of bell houseing :cheers:

:cheers: I just replaced the exhaust from the header to the bumper on my 87 SB. I got everything from Advance Auto except the cat. I got the CAT from NAPA. The pipes were made by walker. The tail pipe was high $$$$$ :cheers:
