when did they change? with the change from tbi to mpi?

i have a cluch and flywheel for a 97 2.5L wrangler. is it the same as one off a 86 2.5L mj? i don't know if the mj in question is 2x4 or 4x4. will it fit? what are the diffrences?

i thought about selling the TJ for an MJ but with all the money and new parts i have tied up in the rig it just dosent make any sence to sell it. so much new stuff i shouldent have any problems under the hood for about five years. the axels and trans thats a difrient story. :laughin:

new here posting to say hi ive been floating around this site last few days reading on every ones rigs a bit. you guys have some nice trucks. I'm not curently an MJ owner but I'm saveing $$ to get one. i like my TJ but its just not a pickup.

ive seen him do it! i believe it was rice and some sort of meat. he is a good cook thats kens old Mj right? its looking awsome!
