basicly i had a comanche, sold it for a yota...i know i know, but i had to see for myself, and honestly was a huge mistake. so know I'm looking to get back in to it and i have found 2 really clean manches but there 2wd. hoping to just by a 2wd and do a swap to have 4wd. thanks al

ok, i tried searching and its jus to much work! lol.. i tried being specific, tried being broad and it seems like theres just to many ways to get the wrong information haha. I'm looking for some posts about 2wd to 4wd conversions. hopefully some one has bookmarked a few or can lead me in the right direction, or maybe just some keywords to use so i don't get basicly ever post on this site when doind a search lol...thanks al

hey, i live in bloomingdale, and the truck is coming out insane..i had a comanche bout 6 mos ago, sold it for a yota but blew the engine on my first wheeling trip..ended up getting a junk truck threw that motor in only to find out it has a blown head gasket....i put my comanche through hell and it always came through,,,i don't know if ur familiar with jefferson but i was across from fairy tail forest, and in the back where the huge mud/lake is..comanche went through there with flying colors numerious times, and only got half way through it with the toyota and got water in the intake. so know I'm getting my foot back in the door with a real truck and will hopefully have another comanche soon..can't wait to see this rig done!

Ok i was at my friends house a few months ago and he found a Cb antenna and base in his basement. i remembered that i had a hole drilled in my roof allready for a cb from the previous owner. So we got a crappy cb he had in his room and hooked it all up. With my luck, of course it didnt work. So i went out and bought the cobra 40 channel cb. I hooked it up to the antenna and got it working. I still couldnt get anything thorugh the radio, but the PA worked so i know it was hooked up right. I then ordered a new antenna on ebay, and that didnt work either. So right now I'm working with a brand new cb and antenna, but an old base. Could that be my problem? i really don't know much about the cbs but i think it would be cool to have. also i wanted to ad that i looked into a new base but all i oculd find were magnetic ones. i really want to go with the ones that you have mount with a bolt only because i want to use that whole and make sure its sealed to prevent more leaks. So after reading my whole story i might have gotten you confused, here's my questions: 1. Would a new base solve my problem 2. Why isnt this working form what i have 3. What would you recomend for a base/antenna 4. Please cue me in on more information lol Thanks for you help albert III

hey guys this is one of my first posts hear lets see how it does. I am getting a stereo from santa (parents) also and need a box to hold me subs. I was actually thinking about posting my own post about boxes but i figured since this was allready up i might as well not use up space. if the mods want me to i will make another so i don't jack this post. I am in the process of making a subwoofer box for my comanche but dam there is less room behind the seats then i thought. can i see some pics of you sub boxes? if i don't have any luck i will make a new post. thanks albert III
