This rust-free 1987 Jeep Comanche Chief, 'brochure truck' was bought new near Charlotte, North Carolina and hasn't been subjected to road salt. My son ("G") and I bought this Chief in 2022. There is a build-page here on CC that you can read for background information. This one checks off almost all the boxes to be someone's "Perfect Comanche". It did for us. The only reason for selling is that G had to make the hard choice of which project he was going to keep. This Chief retains most of its original paint, interior and equipment. It also comes with a clean Carfax vehicle history report that verifies 109,000 original miles and North Carolina title in my name. The VIN and build codes confirm a long list of options and very popular (now rare) color combination. As pictured in the '87 Jeep brochures, this Chief is PE-4 Colorado Red with black bucket seat interior. To our knowledge, there are only two factory installed options missing. Those items are: MWB- Sport Bar & LNJ- Fog Lamps. We have used Cruiser54's list as our go-to list of items to work on or confirm proper operation.
