comancheon33
On my 88 the park lights below the headlights don't work. The turn signals do but nothing else. I have replaced the bulbs and cleaned the sockets. I would like to get this fixed because it makes the turn indicators in the cb light up. Has anyone else had this problem before? My next step is to tear the header panel off to get to that connector for all of the front lights. Unless someone else has a different idea. Thanks in advance
CWLONGSHOT
You have a bad ground. I would check in the in the tail lights and adjacent to the font head lights. Out back, if you take off the tail lights, you will see where they ground. Remove the wire, clean the treminal, get a new self tapping screw and reattach in a NEW location. I also prefer to add dielectric grease. Add it between the wire when you crimp it between the screw and connecter before you attach to body and a bit more over the connection. It would be even better if you soldered the connections. Good luck, CW
comancheon33
I messed with it last night for awhile. It actually had bad light sockets in the front. Swapped them out and they are up and running again. Thanks
