mjED
Next thing that needs to be fixed. Former owner recovered the headliner, himself I am guessing, with a thick canvas. Over time the weight of the canvas caused the headliner to sag in the middle finally buckling under it own weight and creasing. The headliner form is not in bad shape, except for a couple nicks along the edge. Tearing off the old canvas fabric left a fuzzy mess out of the old liner. The liner is not very thick an on the interior side it looks more like the insulation in my house attic. The upper side is more of a fiberglass layer with many clumps of the material stuck to it. Would my best be to apply a coat of fiberglass resin to the bottom side? I was thinking that a layer of fiberglass chop might also stiffen the liner up so it will not sag.
