combatcamera
For Sale: 990 Jeep Comanche 4.0 liter engine and five speed manual transmission The truck has about 194,000 total miles on it, however a rebuilt engine was installed last summer - I have documentation on the install. The engine has about 20,000 miles on it. The truck has air conditioning. It needs a recharge, but otherwise works. No rust, including the floor pans. Floor pans were replaced a few years ago, new pans were professionally welded in. Everything looks original. Drivers seat upholstery is worn and split. Seat is entirely functional, but a seat cover may be needed. Truck starts, runs and stops. There is an exhaust leak that should be looked at. The truck just sounds louder than it should be. Other than this, the truck is solid and reliable. Truck has a 4.5-inch lift. The rear is lifted about six inches, I believe. Tires are 33 inch, BFG KO2 with lots of life left in them. Rear cap has been installed and is set up for camping/ traveling...it has a carpeted floor and curtains can be installed. The rear window in the truck cab has been removed and a rubber accordion boot has been installed, which connects the cab and the rear area...one can access the cab from the rear area and the rear from the cab. Additional switches have been installed on the dash. At one time they operated various lights and other items. The lights have been removed, but the wiring is still there if you'd like to wire in lights etc. None of the added wiring is currently hooked up. It was also installed so that it DID NOT hack up the original wiring. Wheel bearings were replaced this past summer. Ball joints and tie rods replaced within the past few years, as well as numerous other bits and bobs as needed. Pretty much everything on the front suspension that would wear out has been replaced. The paint is decent. It's a 20-foot paint job, as in it looks great from about 20 feet away. The truck does not currently have a radio installed. The stock wiring harness is there, as are speakers. A radio is included, it's just not hooked up. It can be just plugged in, though it doesn't have an auxiliary jack for an iPod or other similar device. Quadratec sells a kit that makes it plug and play simple to hook up a non-stock radio to the stock wiring harness. Also included is a snorkel/ raised air intake, running boards/ side steps and brand new electric cooling fan. The truck also has a full-size spare tire. A note on the spare: I had installed a cargo rack above the cab. That's where I kept the spare. The rear bumper blocks the access point to lower/ raise the spare when it's in the stock location. I've had the truck about eight years or so and it's been a wonderful truck. I'm a little sad about letting it go, but it's time to pass it on as it no longer meets my needs. Truck is located in Baltimore, Md. ZIP code 21229 Asking $4500 OBO.
