DiggsBakes
So I'm new to the forum, but I've been wheeling XJs for about 15 years and building them at different levels throughout. I'm at the stage of bored with bolt-on and I'm starting to make my own CAs, brackets, packs, as well as frame supports, etc. So nothing fancy yet, but looking forward to diving into the MJ with an 8.25 swap. I picked up the slightly dinged up long bed with delivery to my house (45mi up the mountain) for $1000. It was robbed of it's axles, since it had the tow package (D44 out back). I'm gonna be doing the swap along with a matching kit up front this month. All the while focusing on why its running so rough. If I need to I have a '97 4.0L on hand. . . Hope to save that, which would require my other XJs and the MJ to last a while longer with TONS of TLC that I give these things. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and I will be posting pics. I'm sure you'll love the befores and the story of how we had to roll a car dolly underneath the MJ in order to off load it. We had it ~5ft in the air! Happy Holidays!!!
