Comanche House Project

Recommended Posts

Here is my 88 Comanche, I recently picked up. Needed some work and wouldn't start when I got it. Went and got spark plugs and a fuel filter and it started right up.

4.0L with the 5 speed peugeot trans. 4x4

A little background on me, I've had two yj's, and currently have a 97 and 98 tj, along with just picking up the 88 comanche.

The trans mount was gone and I didn't want to pay for the $70 mount for the peugot trans so I welded one up from a new ax5 one.

Wheels are going to be painted I just wanted to get one mounted up.

All tucked away in the garage with my daily driver tj.

And here in my other project tj.

Someone has swapped in a Chrysler 8.25 rear end and installed a rusty's 6" lift with the spring over in the rear.

picked up some beadlocks pretty cheap and some 34x10.5 tsl tires.

Need the front driveshaft put back in and check the gear ratios. Jeep won't be seeing the road and be strictly a trail rig. Plan is to weld up the axles and go from there.

Ready to get it out on the trail and see how it does for the first shake down run.
