ze9900 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 I currently have a 2wd 88 comanche with the renix 4.0 and pugot ba10, the tranny is bad. I purchased a 96 xj 4.0 aw4 np231 as a donor for dirt cheap. Everything mechanically sound bad body rot. My plan originally was to just swap the tranny, t-case, and axles. But after some research I found that there's a lil more I need to get the tranny to work (I apparently need a different engine harness) so my question is how much more work would it be to just strip the comanche completely and just put everything engine/tranny/t-case, complete wiring harness and swap out the dashes and interior wiring also? This is going to be a trail rig so I don't have to worry about any inspections. Thanks
