Tigger
Hi everyone, this is my first post on here. I have an 88 Comanche 4.0/AX15/np231 Has 97 cherokee dana 30 up front and a dana 44 rear end. It has ZJ steering as well. My problem is that when I first got it, it had miss matched front to rear tires. All 31's and brand new but the 2 in the front were one type and the 2 in the rear were a different type. When I had the 31x10.50 r15 on it I could turn the the steering wheel left to right with one finger with no problem. Last night I picked up some 33x12.50 r15's and now the steering dose not want to turn. Its like I went back to manual steering. This is my first comanche, but I have had many jeep. Grand cherokees, cherokees, and wranglers. Never had this problem. Fluid is good, box is not whining, everything is tight. Is this steering set up not made to handle these tires? When I first got my cherokee I went from 31's to 35's with no problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Steve
