combatcamera
For Sale 1987 Jeep Comanche Laredo 151,000 miles 4.0 engine 4x4 Automatic (AW-4, I’m assuming) Power windows and locks Located in Maryland, near Washington, D.C. Asking $900 OBO The Good Runs strong. Starts each time with no issues. Runs well. Clean truck, no frame rot or rust. Has A/C (though not hooked up). Has Class III trailer hitch installed. Hitch is welded to the frame. I’ve used this truck to tow another Comanche, pulled great. (Note: Tow ball seen in photos IS NOT included.) Clean headliner that DOES NOT sag. (Crazy, I know.) Has full gauges. Comes with rubber mat for the bed. Also comes with front springs for a 3-inch lift as well as other components for a 3-inch lift. (Should be all you need for the front. But, I’m not 100 percent on that. ) Comes with a second front bumper as well. The Bad Floor pans need replacing. Fist-sized hole in driver’s side floor pan, passenger side looks fine. I haven’t pulled the carpet, so there may be more rust/ rot and I just haven’t seen it. Needs paint. Needs a new oil pressure sending unit. Gauge works fine, just needs new sender. Mileage on odometer is not true mileage. Truck has approx. 151,000 miles on it, not 135,00 as indicated by the odometer. Gauge cluster was swapped out with another Comanche. Numerous dents and dings on bed as well as some surface rust. Bench seat is not original to the truck. Difficult to shift from 2WD to 4WD A/C not hooked up. Was told by prior owner that it works, just needs to be hooked up and a recharge of refrigerant. I have no idea if this is true or not. Tailgate has holes drilled in it. Tailgate is also missing the two “hinges” on the bottom. Inside panels on driver's door missing. Power windows need work. Probably new motors. Drivers side motor inoperable. Passenger side works, but window is raised and lowered very slowly. Power locks inoperable as well.
