TooTall Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 I'm switching a tranny b/10 out in a 1988 comanche 4x4 short bed pioneer project of mine and got a 1992 comanche ax15 tranny for it .....and the previouse pilot bearing is to small so got a 1992 pilot bearing and the outside diameter is to small to fit snug to engine what bearing do i need???anybody no ,someone said a pilot bearing from a 1973cj would work????PLEASE HELP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Automan2164 Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 I have heard that the bearing from a '79 (?) CJ with the 304 V-8 is what you need, but so far, have found that getting the brass bushing for the Year engine you have, and have it milled out or drill it out to the size of the input shaft...
