  1. BUMP cause I love this thread. By far my fav Comanche on this forum..... especially since it's the colour I want on mine. That is the brightest red I think I've ever seen. Looks great.
  2. Okay.... I realize that this is being incredibly picky.... but "The Pub" should really be listed below the classifieds section since it's just a general chit chat area that has little to do with Comanche's.
  3. 1. Would it be possible for you guys to change the colour of the link text so it looks different from the normal forum text? Sometimes people put links in their posts and you don't even know they're there unless you happen to hover the mouse pointer over the text. 2. A URL link with text should look like this: text ,but for whatever reason this site won't except the quotation marks before and after the website address...... which took me forever to figure out during my first post with a URL link in it. 3. Every other forum I've been on allows you to highlight the piece of text you wish to link and it then asks you for the web address to create the URL for, but this site just inserts blank URL tags. Is this something that can be changed? Please only take the above comments as constructive criticism. I love this forum and find it extremely helpful..... I just like to see it become a bit more functional. BryGuy
  4. Nope.... completely custom. He just did an awesome job. The link to the build was provided by lost issues in an above post.
  5. Thanks..... exactly what I was looking for. Custom it is. I love the look of it.
  6. Came across the following MJ on Pirate4x4 and I loved the rear corner light modification. I figured I'd share it with you guys. I contacted the owner, but haven't heard back from them yet. Do you think this was a custom job or is there a vendor out there that offers this corner panel?
  7. A 89' Comanche Longbox in my area. It started out as a 2wd Comanche 2.5L and has spent it's life here in Newfoundland, Canada (google map link for those of you unfamiliar with where Newfoundland is ;) ) I've yet to see another Comanche in the 6yrs I've lived in Newfoundland...... which makes it a pretty unique vehicle here. Due to our proximately to the ocean, and our winters (lots of freeze -> thaw), rust is always a problem..... but for a 22yr old unibody vehicle it's a nightmare. The previous owner is known to me, and is more competent than I am when it comes to mechanical & fabrication skills. This vehicle was one of numerous projects that he worked on. Here's the pics and info of the previous owners build: - Removed the front 2wd axle Removing filler put on by previous owner, over dents without holes or rust. Rusty's 8" Long Arm Kit Donor vehicle Started lift kit Cleaned up the front a bit Sitting on 39's Out with the 2.5 In with the 4.0 from the donor Added new brakes all around with the upgraded "double diaphragm brake booster" New paint Custom high steer bracket, drag link and tie rod are still a work in progress Swaybar not disco'd Finished front end
