holeski
I went out and wheeled my Comanche for the fist time is weekend. Wow what a wheelbase will do for you. 4.10 open front and rear right now stock 4 cyl.

pingpong
Nice :D Wheelbase rocks, especially on hill climbs :brows: But it does suck on sharp turns though
Pete M
I love my wheelbase too! But I highly recommend some rocker guards. It's amazingly easy to smack the sheetmetal into stuff. Also, if you don't have one already, you should get a harness for your furry friend. :D
pingpong
I love the doggie harness :D I don't bring my doggs with me cause they have slightly aggressive behaviors towards othe dogs  Plus In my opinion the trail is no place for a dog
DirtyComanche
And with that, the insanity has begun. Congrats on your impending financial problems.
holeski
I like to do a lot of exploration so he goes with me when I do that kind of stuff. When I hit real trails he stays behind. He has a lot more room in the MJ compared to my YJ. We have gone across the US 2 times and worked Urban Disaster Search and Rescue in Washington State for FEMA so he is real good with everyone and thing, although he doesn’t understand why he can’t go play with the Moose. Where did you find the doggy harness? As rockers go I know I did this to my wife’s XJ and I am no longer allowed to wheel it buy myself. So I built these, She was still pissed at me though. Pete M
Plus In my opinion the trail is no place for a dog I've seen the type of trails you run and I have to agree that rollovers suck for dogs. That's an absolute-worst-case senerio for me though and Carly wears it mostly so she can't lerch forward into the dash on minor bumps/stopping/hills. I bought the harness at my local PetsMart. I bet they have them online but it might be tougher to get the right size.
pingpong
When I go wheeling... Its bad enough that I have to worry about where the bystanders are when I hammer down  and it would suck if I hurt or killed one of my pups  Most of the places I wheel don't allow dogs on the trails anyways. I will relate a story that happened at Crozet last OCT. Guy brought a dog, dog was wondering around on an obstacle, driver getting on it... some one yelled stop, cause of the dog, driver stops, and is in a bad way, and does a slow speed flop. Long story short.. no more pets at this private place. BTW dog was fine :D

Dogs should be on leashes, especially when stuff like that is going on. :(

Waldo has a lil bad a$$ streak.. he has to get muzzled when we go to the Vet or the groomer. PJ now.. the only thing to fear on her is when she jumps up on you and the tongue :brows: Pete, I agree that if you own a pet, you should be responsible, and leash them when there are others around, but like the example I posted earlier, it happens like that more often then not, especially at the larger public wheeling places. What scares me, is when you see the rednose pits, and the Colby pits at the same event held on a leash by lil kids. I just see bad things happening with that going on.
