Htchevyii
So, my aftermarket intermediate pipe cracked at the corrugated looking bend on our last 2200 mile adventure. I was lucky to find a shop in Barstow to repair it for us after I clamped a chili can over it. I'm looking for a higher quality replacement. I've considered the 91+ since it's more readily available, but my manifold is pretty new and not cracked yet, so I don't really want to change it and deal with the EGR stuff. I found this one that Magnaflow sells, but naturally it's on BO. Has anyone else found anything besides the cheap aftermarket ones? I think that I will also add some better hangers and a flex joint to the system while I'm at it.
Eagle_SX4
There are 2 different brands listed on rockauto for a 88 Comanche. https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/jeep,1988,comanche,4.0l+242cid+l6,1181584,exhaust+&+emission,pipe+/+resonator,10038 I used a walker tail pipe and it fit well. Htchevyii
Thanks, I looked at those. Not sure what brand mine is, but it never seemed to fit just right. I'm hoping for a premium option.
Drahcir495
I have nothing to add to your question, but I had to comment on the chili can idea - ingenious!
