MississippiComanche
Just recently replaced my factory tierod with the beefier RC kit. I know some of you have your opinions about RC and not using the factory steering.....but so far its been much better than what I had. Steering is tighter and feels much better. Death wobble is gone. My tie rod ball joints had gone to sh*t. My dad purchased my Comanche for me back in 2005 when I was 14 years old for $1500, and its had awful steering death wobble issues as long as I've owned it. Finally I have gained enough knowledge and money to fix these kind of things. In retrospect, I wish I would've done more homework and got the ZJ steering, because it wouldn't have required reaming the knuckles and I wouldn't have had to buy some 1.5 inch spacers to work with the factory wheels...so they don't rub the tierods ends. The only way this kit will work without the spacers is if you have at least a 3 inch lift with larger properly backspaced non-OEM wheels. I plan on doing a lift later this Summer, but at least the spacers bought me some time until I am able to purchase a lift kit and some 31's.
