today I learned that AMC seatbelts don't click with post-AMC belts

Recommended Posts

Today I learned that Cayenne pepper powder is one hell of a supplement for heart issues.

Oh... Right this is the truck forums.

Glad to know this. I may need to replace mine and I would not have considered this as a possible issue.

When I replaced my bench with buckets in the '88, I had to replace the female ends. I ended up getting a really nice set of AMC logo ones but one of the male ends would not click. I compared the two male ends and sure enough they were different, why? I don't know. I ended up grinding the problematic one to match the other and all worked perfectly.

I have this exact same issue right now. These indented side style clips fit incredibly sloppy in my female clips. They have bounced out which is not cool. I believe they fit in the slightly different AMC branded ones in the last photo.

I'm in the process of installing different belts.
