Same 1986-2001. 1984-85 XJs used a single, center mounted windshield sprayer nozzle that doesn't interchange with the more common 1986-2001 dual nozzle version. The single nozzle itself is different from the dual nozzle. You would have to exchange the entire cowl panel. I've never tried it, but I would think the later cowl panel with the dual sprayers would be a direct bolt on for the 84-85 XJs.
