Bill Posted October 30, 2022 Share Posted October 30, 2022 I was looking for a Dana 44 awhile back too and didn't have much luck in my area but I found East Coast Gear and ordered one from their website. You can even have them install rear disk brakes on it ( I did ) and you can choose the 3.55 gear ratio you want and even have them add trac-loc or whatever locker/limited slip you want. They do such a great job I think, the axle comes in a crate painted really nicely, the brake lines are already installed and all the seals and everything are new so it will be easy to install and trouble-free for many miles! They even included new U-bolts to install it. I am really happy with mine and thought I'd mention this option if you haven't found an axle yet. They have a great website to check out how much it is for what you want exactly. I thought their prices were very reasonable for what you get, especially after I received mine.
