lil_loco
Hey folks! It has been a few years since I have posted here. I have been busy with my vehicular ADHD during the last while. Since the summer of 2019 alone I think I managed to accumulate about 6 and 2 half MJs plus 3 7.3l super duty trucks, 2 ford excursions and a 2020 JTR. I then panic sold all but 1 comanche, 1 f350, and the JTR last spring when I sold my recreational property only to then snatch up 3 more comanches and another excursion. Then my boyfriend declared no more trucks unless they are super special or unique.. so I went and found me this 1987 factory diesel. It is set to arrive next week. Now I have owned more comanches than I can count since I got my hands on my first one in college (spent my student loan on it) but I have been loving them since I saw my first truck in 1987. But I have never had a factory diesel before. This will be a new adventure! Here are the 'before' pictures to get things started. If any diesel gurus are able to shed some tokens of wisdom please share I am open to any guidance!! First will be to get the slave and brake master fixed up and of course the timing belt... then the typical floors and rust. I am also debating on whether to repaint the same colour and keep the interior or swap out to black or newer 91 gray and go a different colour...
