86 XLS Part Out NW Florida (updated list 14 May)

Recommended Posts

Parting out 86 XLS LWB 4x4 auto. The only things not available are front fenders, AC/Heat duct work and interior pieces, cargo light and switch, and taillights.

(CHECKOUT THE LAST TWO POST FOR BETTER PHOTOS OF SOME ITEMS)

Fender flares are not salvageable lots of small cracks and pitting (sun rotted).

Truck was purchased as a possible rebuild. It was originally a 2.8. Has a 3.4 swapped in, but still needs fuel/electrical work.

I do have a clean title for it if someone wanted to tackle the full rebuild.

I’ll ship smaller items on buyers dime.

Interior pieces are mostly tan:

Bench seat with @krustyballer16mounts $100

rear cab carpet panel $50

Do you pull and ship? I might be interested in the steering column. Would that fit an 87?

I can pull and ship, shipping might be expensive on the column due to size and weight. I could get an estimate if your interested.

I definitely would be. Would you be interested in selling the indicator bezel? I can’t read my letters anymore in mine. Also do you have the washer fluid reservoir? Thanks

For how much?  I might be interested in the truck once you're done parting it out for... LS-related reasons :D

Also interested in that chrome rear bumper, but I probably can't come pick it up for another week or two.

Are you referring to the transmission indicator? It’s pretty rough shape.

Washer fluid reservoir $30 including shipping. No visible cracks and was about half full when unbolted.

I want the original to make a towing harness without splicing into the original harness.

I personally work with weatherpacks at work and they are very easy to assemble from the connector kit. I would expect that the 35 year old one on this truck is probably pretty brittle at this point but it might still be salvageable?

Will the weather pack plug with the original plug?

Yes. The original plug (or the one you have a picture of above) is a weatherpack plug so a replacement weatherpack would plug into original plug
