NCTyphoonKid
I’ve had my Comanche since I believe February and have joined quite a few of the Facebook pages. So I found this truck not even looking for it but found my dad a truck and the old man that had it said he had a old Jeep truck that had been sitting for several years (atleast 3) we needed to look at so went and looked at it and needless to say I fell in love with it and decided to keep it. The original plan was to send it on its way but that has changed. It is a 1988 Pioneer edition with 4x4, 4.0 and automatic. The truck has some surface rust but it is rust free other than that. When I got the truck it had a bad power steering pump and lines so I replaced the pump and lines. I’ve also done a tune up to it as well and will probably be putting a new fuel pump in it soon. I plan on cleaning it up more and doing a repaint on it.
NCTyphoonKid
Couple interior pictures I did put a Cherokee leather wheel in because the original wheel was bent but other than that I’ve done nothing else. I’ve got a super nice dash for it also.

Pete M
gotta be patient when hunting for 30 year old parts. but when you finally find them, it's that much more exhilarating

I’ve only had two jeeps the other was a 1984 CJ7 I usually deal with the more uncommon GM stuff. Couple pictures of the Comanches stable mates. The blue z71 is currently being restored. NCTyphoonKid
The painter I have painting my blue z71 which is probably who will paint the Comanche used to have one and told me he had something that he would give me. Check out this gem a original bed mat. My bed is almost perfect from where I think it had a top on it for most of its life. Had to go dig it out of the painters storage building because it was buried.

NCTyphoonKid
Been working on the turbine wheels I’ve been busy sanding the corrosion imperfections out and managed to get one polished and it looks great. Still need to paint the inserts and caps but should be ready for the new tires by the end of the week hopefully.
