GirsMJ86
has anyone seen the commander jeep truck that was in this months Jp mag? its a complete computer generated thing made out of commander pics but it looks sweet. but i think that the gladiator concept is awesome. if they make that thing and it doesnt sway too far from the concept I'm all over one of those. :D but wasnt that rescue pretty cool too with how big and high it sat just stock?! yj2mj
If they bring out the Rescue or the Gladiator, I'll will be first in line with my deposit. I haven't seen the concept you are talking about though.
pingpong
I really doubt Daimler is going to be coming out with anymore trucks do to the fact that it would have to compete with its own trucks that are Dodge. This is why Dodge killed the MJ back in the early 90's was cause it was competing with the Dakota line-up. I would also slap my deposit down on the gladiator, especially if it came with a diesel. ROADLESS
Yea, there nice, but just think about how much they will cost and forget about working on em yourself. Oh well, as the saying goes, if you can afford to spend that much, you can pay someone else to fix em.

Pete M
What Jeep *needs* to do is to break out the old blueprints and build me a brand new MJ made from all stainless steel. Stupid rust. Jeep on! --Pete

pingpong
That pic you just posted of it looks like a sic and twisted mix of an XJ. WJ, and a dodge dakota... definately not what I would buy Patrick
yj2mj
I'd have to pass on that Commander-looking truck, but bring on the Gladiator and Rescue. I'm selling my PSD, and I think the Rescue would be the perfect towrig for me.
GirsMJ86
yea the rescue would be a great tow rig and off road vehicle. too bad it isnt getting made. but the gladiator on the other hand is the next jeep ill buy besides more MJs.

Jeff-B
There's the difference between Michigan and Georgia. They use salt on the roads in winter here in NY, do they use it in Michigan?
Pete M
Do we have salt? The Detroit area is where New York gets its salt. We sit atop the great salt dome, the largest supply of rock salt in the nation, if not the world. And since we supply it, it's cheapest here and they tend to be way too liberal with it. :( Jeep on! --Pete

yj2mj
I might would take the commander truck instead of the rescue if they'de put it on a 1 ton frame. Who do I make the check to?
barnygeroell
at least for europe the commander is build in Austria and the pics are out cost will be about 58k Euro´s for the 5,7 l Hemi. si about the same amount in Us $ available at summer 2006
Jeff-B
For me it wouldn't really have to be a 4-door, but an extended cab would be nice. Maybe something like the little suicide doors on the full size Chevy/GMC line.
