So a friend sent a link for a free ad on marketplace for this about 2 hours free me. I some how lucked out and was the first to answer. The guy was extremely nice, I'm glad I went just to meet more good folk out there if not anything else. I initially tried to see if he needed any parts to at least give him something but nope. So I offered him a case of beer. Bud light was his choice but it slipped my mind about picking it up early Sunday here in Indiana. For those of you not familiar, Indiana just recently started selling alcohol on Sunday and it can be tough finding places to do so before noon. So I tossed him 30 bucks instead when I got there. There isn't a title. So give me ideas. For Indiana rust belt north of 70, it can be tough to find a Mj let alone one with as solid unit body. I've got enough projects but curious to see what the experts here suggest. So lay it on me gentleman. I'm buying a new welder finally next week. Hobart 210 MVP is what I decided on. Something around here is going to get 1 step closer at least come February. Hell or high water won't stop me. To be fair I'll be $300 deep after gas, beer money, and the raping I took at Uhaul for the tow rig round trip. I've cut up and tossed better and also have driven far worse.

Well at $300 you MIGHT be able to break even if you cut up and parted it (keep in mind you've got to get rid of what's left and most scrap yards won't take it without a title) so I think you've got to build it .

Build a nice off-road rig or see about getting a title.

I have the 180 and think its super awesome. The MVP is supposed to be even better but really the only big difference is the ability to run off 110. I have 220 in the house and garage so I figured I did not need the 110 functionality.

Not sure on Indiana's title policy but Texas is pretty straight forward to get a bonded title. Costs an extra $110 or so.

Not sure that's legal, probably not

It isn't legal in WI, but if you swap all of the VIN tags, it would be hard to tell for sure that the title/VINs were swapped, so the crime is hard to track down.

Find a "friend" in Vermont.  He can sell you the truck by bill of sales - that's all they use up there for old vehicles...

New Hampshire is the same way ... New Hampshire does not issue titles for vehicles that have a model year of 1999 or older, except for heavy trucks with three (3) axles or more, or truck tractors whose gross vehicle weight exceeds 18,000 pounds which must always be titled regardless of age.

I'll have to look into Vermont and New Hampshire title transfers in Indiana. I think there is a list though that our state will not except depending on the type of title for that very reason. I'm sure there are many ways but I'm still contemplating dedicated trail rig, cut up/part out/make a trailer, or get it titled somehow and build the overland Mj I've been planning with one. All I see is lots of work regardless and I struggle to find time as it is. I think I should just quite working. It solves everything except paying for stuff:dunce:.
