It might be another 30 years before you realize that is one of life's finer offerrings. Got a pic of that shared moment with junior?

My grandson can’t wait for grandpa to get home from work so he can go out to the truck. He’s going to burn out another horn.

Haha my son does the exact same thing! Once I figure out how to upload pictures correctly I'll post them. Sorry for not responding, I've been super busy with work and vacation. Once I get home today I'll re read all the posts and get back to you guys

Actually, get down to brass tacks, both are expansion tanks. One is included in the cooling loop, one is outside of it. This is an Amazon link to the tank we have:

https://www.amazon.com/Dorman-54002-Engine-Coolant-Recovery/dp/B016V2BIB0/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=coolant+reservoir&qid=1595553176&s=automotive&sprefix=coolant+reservoir&sr=1-12

That's a non-pressurized coolant overflow recovery bottle. It's a totally different animal than the pressurized expansion tank in the Renix 4.0L system.

Yes, but overflow recovery is because of coolant expansion, and overflow is recovered by contraction during cooldown. The pressurized expansion tanks simply make monitoring actual system capacity easier, but the Jeep bottle was a poor design.
