87MJTIM
While driving today, I passed a Gladiator. As it was going by, I realized the driver was giving the Jeep Wave. I did not. Not out of disrespect, but I just didn't think about it. This got me wondering: Do other MJ drivers wave to Gladiator drivers?
eaglescout526
I've honked and waved at one before. Don't know if they waved back. But I say I would leave it up to yourself if you want to acknowledge their existence or not.
MJCARENA
Will only wave if they wave first. This is due to the fact that the Comanche is the superior jeep.
75sv1
The 1966 version, I'd give them the Thumbs up. But I don't see any of them.
Pete M
(In my head) it's the newer (or more stock) Jeep's owner that should instigate the wave.

Smokeyyank
Ahhh the Jeep wave. I've driven jeeps for a little over 15 years now. I've only commonly given/gotten the jeep wave in the CJ I used to roll around in. Very rarely in my XJ someone would wave if they where in a XJ as well but that was it. The new breed of Jeep drivers aren't those I want to acknowledge. They are a bunch of fugazis (not to be confused with the delightful post hardcore punk band). Go to 4WP and run around with their rough country stickers and ghey wheels. Who the F thinks 20's and angry eye grills belong on a jeep!!!
yxmj
The new "Gladiator " would not get a wave......Unless they changed there Hood decal to say Scrambler like it should This guy I would wave and Give a thumbs up...

89 MJ
I would. To me, if it is a solid axle Jeep, it gets the wave. Unless it has angry eyes. Then it doesn’t.
87MJTIM
In my CJ, I wave to other CJ/YJ/TJ/etc. In my MJ, I will wave to XJs (though not all wave back) and other MJs (few that there are). There are not cross waves, however. I just want to get a felling for others on CC.
eaglescout526
I won't Jeep wave to any new Jeep like a 97-01 XJ or TJ. Will wave to older XJ's and the likes.
Dzimm
I wave to most all Jeeps, maybe they will take a hint but have almost never gotten one back besides XJ owners, and even those only come from lifted/modified ones.
Minuit
I don't usually bother with the wave. If someone waves at me, there's a 90% chance I didn't even notice it, or by the time I noticed the wave it was too late to wave back. I'm not a total @$$ - if I see someone wave at me I'll wave back, but I almost never even notice. I was driving my MJ when I saw my first Gladiator in the wild, and the driver looked at my truck but didn't wave.
ComancheKid45
I acknowledge the wave when I'm in my YJ, I hardly ever get waves when I'm in an MJ or my XJ. However if someone does happen to wave I do my best to return the favor.
NHMJXJ
Wave/back. I'm not doing this >>> , but I usually give a thumbs up or four fingers up at the top of the wheel.

This is the back road wave around here to anyone passing. Old timers would sit on their porch and wave to passersby when I first moved here, they've mostly died off now. My locale has become the S---hole I left 12 years ago.
Jeep Driver
Generally speaking, I don't like 'Jeep people', I don't wave, regardless. Just this last weekend, I took this pic to send to my brother. Typical of Jeep people. No reason for this other than to make a nuisance of himself. Warren Mohler
the wave usually comes to me from older Jeep owners MJ ,XJ and Wrangler, but if they wave to me I'll return
JMO413
I have and will continue to wave at all Jeeps with a straight axle. Some know what it means some don't. But I do live in South East Iowa. If I'm in a gravel road I wave at everyone I see.
SVPete
I must honestly say, I never noticed anyone doing the "Jeep" wave.
mjeff87
Back when I owned real Jeeps, I wouldn't get so much as the time of day from anyone when rolling my MJ (on 35's, lifted and all kitted out). But I got waved at almost every time when I was driving my bone stock, non-lifted, still-had-running-boards on it TJ. Go figure.
DesertRat1991
I've also noticed that older Jeeps tend to wave more often. Seems like half of the new Jeeps on the road out here are driven by soccer moms. I have never seen a soccer mom give a Jeep wave.

Not the Gladiator so much, but every other newer Jeep model.
