:brows: That look beautiful! I love the look, definitely have to get a new steering wheel on mine.

Thanks! My only complaint is I wish I would have gone with a flat steering wheel instead of one with a little depth. Makes the cab feel a little more cramped with the steering wheel  extended out a little

So I took a closer look at both turn signal sockets and thought I found my issue. The left socket was previously replaced and who ever wired it before did a terrible job. The wires were just twisted together and covered with electrical tape and one wire had already come loose.

So I cleaned those up and got rid of the issue of my left turn signal indicator on the dash lighting up when I turned the headlights on. The little lip for the ground in the right socket was completely corroded away so I ordered a new one and swapped it in. Got rid of the dash light issue for that side as well. But the right signal still won’t flash of the headlights are on and when they are off it flashes extremely bright and dimly flashes the side markers and the left turn signal as well. Looking at the wires for my left turn signal they’re different than the ones for the right. It has a blue, a gray wire with black stripe, and a smaller black wire. Now I’m wondering if the op spliced in some other wires to go to the socket and did something funky so I’m going to try and do some deep cleaning on wiring this weekend if I can for all the front light wiring.

Had a pretty good junkyard run today. Came home with a SYE for when I do my lift and 4x4 conversion (already have an ax15 and a 231). Also grabbed a wood grain dash from an xj that was in good shape and a fuse block to steal terminals to swap for my corroded ones. Oddly enough I found the fuse block in an old Chevy box van and the plastic box itself is the exact same as the one in my Comanche.

really?  I assume the van is from the 80s?

I couldn’t tell you the exact year but definitely 80s. Kept trying to find a Cherokee that didn’t have the fuse block mounted with the torx bolts (forgot to bring torx bits today) and me and my buddies stumbled across the van. There was an e-brake handle that one of my friends wanted to try and retro fit into his cj and I just happened to spot the fuse block and noticed it was very similar to the Comanche. It had the block mounted with standard bolts instead of the torx so we pulled it really quick. Brought it home and realized it was exactly the same aside from some of the female terminals being in different locations.

Haven’t posted in a while but have made a lot of progress with the mj! A buddy with a lot of Jeep knowledge helped me out and we got the d30 with wj knuckle swap and the 8.25 from my old xj swapped into the Comanche along with a cab fab Alpha series 3 link. Also swapped out the BA10 for an AX15 with a 231 transfer case along with slapping on some new tires on rubicon wheels. I’m going to have to find some better adapters for the rubicon wheels though to space them out more. Other than that I’m very happy with the way she sits at the moment!

Haven’t posted in a while but started a little work on the ole girl again. Installed a transmission mount adapter to clean everything up for the YJ ax15 to be able to bolt up to the cab fab crossmember I have.

That cab looks mighty fine alongside the decals… really like how the newer Rubi wheels look with it too

Thanks! The decals were on the truck when I bought it and I don’t think it’s factory because I looked for it for a while when I was thinking about swapping my doors and couldn’t find a set that was exactly the same.
