KANTANKRUS Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Tomorrow, my truck gets its windshield pulled and if it breaks, it will get a brand new one. The windshield chrome/painted black strips will be replaced with a leak free rubber perimeter seal. One more reason why I am having this done, try to eliminate leaks! Update: no visible windshield leaks, they even did a compressed air test, they found nothing. Windshield shop applied extra butyl rubber in and around the pinch seam, to see if that helps the possible leaking situation. Next will be, new door rubbers, as well as a thorough inspection of the cowl area, while I am in there, checking out the wiper motor issue! I flew into Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon with some friends from San Diego. Went to Mt. Washington on Grand View road. Very nice views of the city.
