I just saw this....

I’m down for it!!!!! Anything bigger what the 48mm is I’m sure it’ll give some oomph in the butt dyno

Cool   60 or 62?  What year?

I will be getting at least 1 4.0 renix soon, but I need to try to track down the throttle body spacer to maximize the results and for the life of me can't remember who makes them still.

Throttle body spacers are useless on MPI engines

62mm and 88

I just realized something.  I don’t have a renix 2.5L TB.  Unless 91+ is the same as 90 and down?

MeanLemons,

I'm glad I made the purchase.  My 89 Renix 4.0L does run significantly stronger now with your bored TB. I can tell a difference especially when I go up a long, big hill on the expressway route home each day.  I'd hauled four full loads of rock recently too and it feels like it isn't struggling so much.

Renix guys should not fear what you're offering here.

Just found this thread, but I have done a good deal of business with mean lemons. Always great quality, shipped in a timely manner and willing to answer questions and back his work. I have cables and throttle bodies from him in both of my jeeps, engine and trans mounts from him in the Comanche, and plan to get some custom winch/jumper cables made by him whenever I get around to getting a winch for the winch plate I acquired. Anyway, always great products and ya’ll should buy his stuff.

I'll get you some next time I'm up at storage. I could have grabbed a half dozen last Saturday if I had time. I found a 84-86 xj 2.5 smorgasbord of heaps in a new spot that I could spend a solid 40 hours pulling and not get everything.

I do have one 91-95 2.5L throttle body that I need to finish assembling.

Yes I know, renix guys. I’m still working on sourcing renix 2.5L’s
