ComancheCrusher9800
I keep having trouble with the rod bearings. I've rebuilt the engine twice in the last 2 weeks and then had to replace a bearing the.other day. 6 miles down the road and she spins a bearing again. It happen after after 20 miles the other day. First time I rebuilt it a bolt came out of the timing chain fastener and the cam hit it through the block so I had to rebuilt the other motor. Then I slung a bearing. And now I've slung another bearing what do yall thing the problem could be? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
sinkrun
Was the block and crank machined or checked by a shop? If its spinning somethings most likely out of spec or twisted connecting rod was it measured and how well?

Jeep Driver
What did you do with each bearing/journal that you spun? How did you resolve the problem?
Eagle
Are you certain that you used the correct bearings? Was the crank machined as part of the rebuild? If so, was it turned to .010 or .020 undersized? And did you buy bearings to match the undersize?
