Dzimm
So I am to the point that I need to figure out what I want to do for fender flares. So far I've decided that I don't want to spend the money on Bushwackers nor do I want rounded flares. I want to stick with the more boxy look. Here is the options I've come up with in my head and I want your opinions. - Stock flares (I have a set of rears but not fronts. How do the factory front flares look cut short on a 97+ fender? I can't find any pictures of this. Also are they available new with the inner brackets for a decent price anywhere? What about new inner brackets for the rear? Mine are pretty rusty.) - TJ rear flares on all 4 corners (I've seen them used on XJs but has anyone done it on an MJ? How do they fit in the rear?) - Track down some PVC board and make my own flat flares. (I've already made phone calls about this but nobody can get it around here anywhere at a decent price.) What other options can you guys come up with?
Eagle
Quadratec has the front flares and the retainer strips. https://www.quadratec.com/search/cherokee%20flares If you're using the original MJ flares in the rear, the OEM style flares in the front will look better than anything else, even when trimmed to fit the 97+ front clip. Thanks, that's perfect. Any idea how many retainer brackets are on the front? I'm seeing two each on the website but I want to confirm.

shelbyluvv
These are rear flares on the front to open up the fenders a touch for tire clearance. I do have a set of prototype, unfinished rear 97+ fender flares that I may be selling.
Rockfrog
Stock 88 flares trimmed on 00 fenders. Ground the stock backing plate studs down and drilled 1/4" holes. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
Dzimm
Thanks guys. Definitely looks good with the stock flares so I ordered a set of fronts to put on it. Should be here next week!
