DirtyDeeds
does any one know what the ohm range should be for the fuel level sending unit from an 87 mj?
Green Mesa XJ
I think for xj 84-90 the readings are Full- 88 ohms Empty - 0 ohms I need to look it up again it's been a little while since I messed with the system. I do know 91 Chrysler swap the reading , so empty read full on a 84-90 gauge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

DirtyDeeds
I'm putting a new tank sending unit and switching to an inline pump. I'm going to put the pump on the factory circuit, but I'm running a whole new one for the sending unit. do you think i should add an extra ground grounding the tank to the body? i read somewhere that you should use the same ground point for the sending unit and the gauge

I don't think the tank will need any further ground.
