mattbuch96
This weekend I started replacing metal on my floor pans and I am looking for some input. I need to replace the metal underneath by gas peddle and a spot here my seat studs are and I believe the fuel lines run directly under these locations. How do I go about cutting and welding with the fuel lines there? Thanks for the input! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
mrmel2you
I went to Harbor Freight and bought a welder's mat, think I paid around $10 for it. Punched a couple of holes in it, used zip ties through then and around the fuel lines, problem solved. Just remember to cut the zip ties and remove the mat when you are finished :)
