omega_rugal Posted March 19, 2017 Share Posted March 19, 2017 is the 42RE better, worse or similar to the AW4? the reason is there`s a grand cherokee (ZJ) i can get for cheap, it also has a 4.0 HO and runs pretty well, the interior is in very bad shape but the rest is good, if i were to get it i plan to have it as a donor for the MJ, engine tranny and whatever fits any site i can find more data on this tranny? omega_rugal Posted March 20, 2017 Author Share Posted March 20, 2017 If it has rear disc brakes those are a good swap. has rear disk brakes but is a Dana 35, not swapping my 44 for it just for the brakes, unless the 44 breaks somehow it`s a 2wd so no front axle... again only if my current one breaks...
