DirtyDeeds
Ok I'm about 90% done installing my alarm system on my 87 mj but I've hit one little snag.. I can't figure out where to jump my white wire to for my light flash function. Its the last thing I need. The instructions say it should jump to the parking light circuit but ill be honest I have no clue where that that would be and the 88 electrical manual hadn't been much help. The alarm can send out a (+)12v or a (-) 200mA signal Any help would be much appreciated

DirtyDeeds
88 Comanche Electrical Manual pg 69. so if I'm understanding this right, i jump to the dark blue wire or what ever wire is hooked to the R pin on the back of my head light switch and in theory everything even my license plate lights with flash?? I'm basing this off of pg 69, and the switch diagram on pg
onlyinajeep726
I ran mine directly to one of the parking lamp wires under the driver's side kick panel, that goes to the rear tail lights. It the front and rear light up when power is applied from the alarm system.

Ωhm
Automatic or manual? Fix your switch.otherwise: C157_D IP side BRN w/trace CAB side BRN/WHT pg
DirtyDeeds
It was a manual but I converted to automatic when I did my 4x4 swap, and the special shifter I got to use my wa4 without the trans control module didnt come with a built in switch for the reverse lights
DirtyDeeds
Oh and couldn't I tap spine it with a new switched hot? In that location it should be after the factory switch location right?
Ωhm
Yes. C157_D goes directly to the B/U lamps. When connecting your switch, use a fused inline (7.5 amp) to connect to B+ (SW IGN is best). Other side of switch to C157_D.
DirtyDeeds
Cool I just checked here in Texas they aren't required to pass safety inspection but I still want them. I should be all set to get it inspected tomorrow and painted next week!!
DirtyDeeds
Boom I got reverse lights!! Shouldn't be anything that will keep me from passing inspection tomorrow, well unless they look for my charcoal can and check to see if my egr is hooked up lol
