Renix injectors, or WTH are these?

Recommended Posts

I bought some injectors off fleabay...  They're supposed to be the Ford 710s.  Not the best, but for the 15 minutes it takes to swap them I figured they would be worth the upgrade from the OEM ones.

This is what I was sent:

P/N is 0 280 155 700

What the hell are these?  Any idea on specs?

I'm thinking I should dispute and send them back, but just want to make sure they aren't an equivalent/interchange P/N.

You bought them without knowing how many lbs (I think per hr) they are? Will the connectors attach? Are they 4 hole?

Otherwise its like saying, "I know this carb will fit in place of the old one..." and the old one was 400cfm and the new one is a 750 cfm...

I know I have injectors on the 88 that look like that, newer style body (better than the large barrel style Renix that leak) 4 hole and I'm not sure how many pounds, I'd have to dig for documents for that, but when purchased, they were for stock displacement normally aspirated Jeep.

They were advertised as being the Ford '710' injectors, which are plug and play swaps for Renix applications.  The 710 isn't considered to be as good as the 746, but they're still an upgrade from the stock ones are they are a 4 hole design with the one piece body.

Edit, basically the seller sent me something that is a different P/N than what I ordered.  If I dispute it I will win.  I want to know if it's worth disputing, or if these are actually the same and to just run them.

I measured the resistance of the coil at 14.4ohms.  I believe the 710s are stated as being 14.3ohms, so let's call it the same.

There is another P/N on them, F4SE-A1B, a Ford P/N, which I'm getting some info is also on the 710 injectors...  Meaning they're going to be basically the same, the 710 might be something of an updated P/N on Bosch's part, but not different enough to warrant a superseding P/N for Ford.

I ran the 710's for at least 2 years, then I recently got a pair of the famous 746's and my truck is running noticeably better and it seems it's getting better fuel mileage. Unfortunarely I didnt document anything but my daily route is almost the same and I have noticed a small improvement.
