Switch panel placement on dash

Where do you guys recommend placing a control panel on the dash? I need to find a place for 2 of these buggers-

 

 

Right now, I can only think of the lower left of the gauge bezel, or make a filler panel by the glovebox to be placed there. Anyone have an alternative? Its about 3" across, 2" high

I took out the digital clock to the right to mount switches. It might work for your application.

Good idea to use the clock panel for one of those.

 

For the second one, you might look at using the ash tray location.  Take a look at this DIY Section thread -See post #7 for the idea:

Sadly the clock pod is already taken, or else I would do that
