1986 2wd mj wheel fitment question

Recommended Posts

I tried searching...my 1986 2wd mj has the 1 piece brake rotor/bearing combo with the little cap on the end. right now i have the steel wheels with the large hole opening and no center caps. I have the opportunity to pick up  these wheels:

will these fit with those wierdo rotor bearing combo or do i need something with thr bigger opening. I already know the bolt pattern is the same.

The crusty bearing cap will fit in the hole but will stick out a bit and look bad. Here's an easy fix I did:

There's another way if you don't want change knuckles (I didn't). You can't buy the OEM caps anymore, and there are no low profile caps; they will all stick through the hole somewhat. One solution I found is to use Mr. Gasket Chrome Dust Caps. They are just a tiny bit small, but you can cut a strip of aluminum from a beer can and fold it shim it around the inner lip of the hub and they will tap in firmly and stay forever.

They look better than the original dust caps sticking through.
