EnlistedManche
So to resolve the rust issue in my rear fender flares I'm considering the flared bedsides similar to what's on the zone off-road Comanche. Does anyone know or have experience with a place to buy these and the inner fender wells? Both of mine are pretty rusted out. I'm looking hannemann but their website seems outdated and somewhat sketchy! All advice is appreciated or other solutions to solve the rust! Thanks! shelbyluvv
They are legit. May be an old website but they are real dudes. Pick up the phone and call them.
yellaheep
Pretty expensive to go with the fiberglass bed sides. Perhaps cut out the rust, treat the edges and paint, then use TJ rear flares on the front and rear? This one has it done to the rear, just not real hip on the front flares with the marker light. Using TJ rears on all 4 corners of the MJ looks pretty good.
DirtyComanche
I installed a set of Hanneman fenders on a Toyota. They're real people. Fit was pretty decent, but there was definitely some screwing around to get everything lined up, and some sanding and filler was needed just to make it look reasonably correct. It was painted over with bedliner, I forget what type (probably Hippo because it was tinted purple, and that's about the only tintable liner I can get locally), so that hid the majority of the imperfections. If you want it to be factory quality you're going to be in for a lot of work.
mikekaz1
never seen one in person but ive always thought the 4 rear TJ flares looked decent or look into napier flares
Tj1
I haven't replaced the inners yet, to much surface rust to get the welds to bite. Patched the outters with 18 ga. and primed it Not sure if I'm going to add flares yet, but I have a set of rear tj flares ready
ScottJeep
So, would you be interested in obtaining complete outer rear fenders, bolt on, like armor that included fender flares. Like this: But made for here: Would you be interested? And, well yes what you see is a fender pattern taken and supplied to a fabricator.
CMMagnussen
Hanneman is good my front fenders arrived 3 days ago and bedsides will be ordered this summer. No idea how the fit will go but they look great on the shop floor right now. Just another option http://stores.zmjeeps.com/bed-side-mj-comanche/ I purchased my J20 fiberglass from Zack a few years ago transaction was smooth
Crash
I almost think making the opening more circular and using flexy flares would look good.
