JeepFanactic
I am finishing up my AX-15 installation and I am missing the transfer case linkage. I looked into the Novak linkage but it is a little pricey. Has anyone used another linkage that worked. Has anyone used the 231 HD Shift Linkage (Manual Trans) - Boostwerks Engineering. The price is awesome compared to the Novak. What's the difference between the two? Thanks

Crash
Novak is cable, and aftermarket shifter stick. Boostwerks uses a heim/allthread straight linkage direct from stock shifter to modified lever at the t-case. I'm going to go boostwerks on my MJ, when I do 4WD swap, and will at some point on my XJ. Minus the new t-case side lever, you could source allthread and heim joints local. But, for the price of the kit I think it's worth it.
Airborne Janitor
I use a Novak linkage on my XJ with an NP241OR swapped in. Takes some dialing in initially, but haven't touched it since. Yes, it is pricey. Yes, it works. I have no first hand experience with this one (heard good things), but I'll probably put one in my MJ when it's time... http://www.azzysdesignworks.com/store/jeep-np231-transfer-case-linkage-kit
Airborne Janitor
Junkyard not an option? Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk Not really. The junkyards around here are not great. BTW where are you in VA? I just moved from Richmond and there are 3 pick-n-pulls and quite a few traditional yards that I've had good luck with. Siopposition
I'm another advocate for boostwerks. Works great and I've used both novac and boostwerks. Still takes some adjusting. But once set never had an issue Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

87MJTIM
Some people have taken the older linkage and flipped over. You can search for that on here (and other Jeep forums) to check how it worked out.
Jess
I flipped my Peugeot bracket when I swapped to the AX15. It took a little dialing but it works.

xjrev10
Love my NoVak shifter but Dirt Bound Off-road makes one that's identical for half the price.
