collkid
Welp. Before you even do that. Being that its your first car, I'll say, keep it stock. Learn how to keep up with a car, especially an older one. Wish someone told me that early on.

Megadan
Welp. Before you even do that. Being that its your first car, I'll say, keep it stock. Learn how to keep up with a car, especially an older one. Wish someone told me that early on. This is decent advice, but I wouldn't live by that idea either. Heck, my very first car was mostly disassembled, and I spent 8 months learning how to put it all back together (including the engine). I guess that would kind of cover learning how to take care of it in a weird way... If you still need help posting pics, open a photobucket account. you can copy and paste IMG tags into your messages. Crash
IIRC, if you stay SUA you will probably have to trim the ends of those spring perches. If you are going all out, lift and such SOA then they will be fine as is.

Jackrabbit41
Ive had a train horn installed, but it kept having problems because i put it under the hood by the engine and it was way to hot, so today i moved it to a spot right by the rocker panels tucked up int the side of the bed. The trumpets have been under the bed the whole time. here's so pics: [/url]">http:// [/url]">http:// [/url]">http://http://s1148.photobucket.com/user/Jackrabbit123/media/IMG_3559_zpsbkyrg1oy.jpg.html'> The only problem i didn't think of until i finished is that when my rock sliders finally come (I've been waiting 9 weeks from Nates 4x4, but its worth the wait), and so i think they could hit the tank, but ill fix it when I'm there. Lol, this train horn has caused me so many problems and money then its really worth, but its so much fun to be a fool sometimes
Jackrabbit41
Rock sliders finally came and i put them on a week or so ago and i also pulled up the drivers side carpet and found one thumb size rust hole and only minor surface rust. Probably going to fix it in the next few weeks once i get out of school [/url]">http:// [/url]">http:// [/url]">http:// [/url]">http:// [/url]">http:// [/url]">http://http://s1148.photobucket.com/user/Jackrabbit123/media/IMG_3703_zpsa5gmsmih.jpg.html'>

Also, how has the ford explorer LSD been working out for you does it keep things moving forward or do u think it isn't a good call for muddin' applications? Still yet to buy my own comanche but watching you and other people build theirs is extremely helpful in preparing me for what I'm going to end up doing. Sorry i just saw this, the notify me stopped working so i actually have to go on this thread and look. the LED bar is super worth it. Its mostly for the looks, but it does function good. I would just recommend putting water sealant around the edge before you install one. i haven't put that axle in yet but within 2 weeks i will. I'm 16 and so i can only work in the summer and I'm trying to save money but other stuff keeps breaking lol. sorry again
